Can we be post gen­der? Is porn anti-feminist? What is it that scares the homo­phobes? My writ­ing deals with mas­culin­ity, fem­i­n­ity and sex­u­al­ity – and with the images and media that shape our sense of gen­der. As a cul­tural stud­ies scholar and jour­nal­ist I too par­tic­i­pate in the pro­duc­tion of these images. My goal is to approach these top­ics from the most crit­i­cal point of view.
